About KOS

February, 01, 2002 Kvarnstrands Verktyg AB and Oertli Gepa AB was incorporated. The new started company was named Kvarnstrands & Oertli Scandinavia AB (KOS). KOS is owned by 90,1 % by Kvarnstrands Verktyg AB and the remaining 9.9 % are owned by Oertli Schweiz AG.

KOS is the sales company for the Scandinavien market. The alignment is cutting tools for wood processing with focus on solid wood production.

The main purpose for the cooperation between the both companies was to achive a number of cooperation advantages like:

• More specialists who can meet the markets increasing demands for competence with their gathered knowledge of cutting tools for the wood processing market.
